Old White Man Speaks

Here are some random thoughts and opinions outside the realm of tubism, or we can call this prattles of an old, white tube:

The people, mostly women and children, who are seeking refuge in the US and fleeing violence in their home countries such as Honduras, are not trying to sneak into the US illegally. They fear for their lives and the lives of their loved ones and should be granted asylum simply out of compassion for our fellow tubes, no matter the color of their bodies. The only reason to keep them out is due to racism, especially the racism as espoused and simultaneously denied by Donald Trump, who, as we all know, is devoid and incapable of compassion. He especially hates and judges people of color and panders to others who share his hatred.

If other reasons for their admittance are needed, other than compassion, it becomes a simple issue of economics. It costs us tax payers much more money to keep them out than it does to admit them and we can all benefit from their gratitude and devotion to the country that gave them a safer place to live and thrive. (like every other person living in this country who is descended from other immigrants and refugees except for the original inhabitants who have been the most persecuted and killed. The First Nation People have never been safe here in their homeland.) The idea that these refugees are dangerous is absurd. They want to live in a country where they are not as subject to violence, rape, etc.
